Changes in HRC staff Fri, 16/01/2009 - 11:01
Annemaria Ojanperä, previously the Communications Manager within HRC, has been appointed as the new Programme Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the programme as from 1 January 2009. Riku Rinta-Jouppi, who held the position of the Programme Manager for 2 years, will – among other, external tasks - continue to contribute to HRC’s activities in the role of a Legal Advisor. In addition, HRC has recruited Arto Kultamaa as a Scientific Advisor. Mr Kultamaa is a chemist and an expert in risk assessment. He also runs his own consultancy, Chemest Oy Ltd. He has previously worked on REACH issues within the Competent Authority of Finland, and will from now on contribute his profound technical knowledge on REACH for the benefit of the HRC members.
