HRC expands – welcomes EU-associations

So far HRC has focused on helping the non-EU associations, who have the most difficulties in complying with REACH, and lack an overall umbrella organization to look after their interests.

Chemexcil of India joins the HRC network

On 14 August 2008, HRC welcomed Chemexcil - Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Export Promotion Council - as the newest overseas member to its network. Based in Mumbai, Chemexcil represents 7500 members. Chemexcil is an initiative of the Indian Ministry of Commerce. www.chemexcil.gov.in

Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association (IMMEA) becomes member of HRC

IMMEA became an overseas member of the HRC on 7 July. The general secretariat of IMMEA comprises six Exporters’ Associations, which represent 23 000 members.
