The EU’s national chemical industry associations have Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council as their umbrella organization which gives them information and advice to be passed on to their member companies. However, according to the messages and inquiries HRC receives from within the EU, there is still a need for more knowledge and practical guidance on REACH and CLP at the grass-root level in different EU member states.
